I showed up at a nice family's house one weekend dragging a ~5ft long tether attached to my big ol' collar. I decided I was tired of being tied up and I was ready to hit the road. This new family tried to find my old owners but they didn't have any luck. I have to tell you, I absolutely adore people and haven't met one single stranger. I like to wag my tail so fast that it looks like a blur. That way these silly humans know that I am happy. I also like to smile, which makes my foster mom smile back. I do forget my manners occassionally and will jump up on people but I am very gentle and will get down when asked to. I was never taught any tricks or commands but my foster family is working on teaching me some basic commands. My foster family says I am not house broken yet but I am a smart boy and I should learn soon. So, I am looking for a new home. One that will love me and let me love them in return. Could you be that home? Oh yeah, my foster family says I need to go to a home without those weird looking dogs that meow. I think they are awesome and fun to chase, but these humans say that isn't allowed. Please read below for a note from my foster mom. :)From Miles' foster mom: Miles is a ~2 yr old Pit Bull. He has been vaccinated, heartworm tested (results pending), and will be neutered before adoption. Miles needs to go to a home without cats or small dogs, since no one taught him that they are not a snack. He does do well with dogs his size or larger. Miles will be adopted only as an indoor family pet. He will not be chained or left in a pen as an outdoor dog.
