Smokey likes to play! He’s an active and intelligent kitten, and loves to be held and petted but feels insecure if you life him into the air by either the scruff or with one hand; so use both hands for his comfort! He’s also very loving, and is happy either napping on a warm blanket, or in your lap or on your shoulder.  He is well tolerant of being brushed, and is already litterbox trained and beginning to use a scratching post. Smokey would be ideal for someone who would prefer a more independent cat or anyone who would prefer a lap cat. Estimated DOB 05.29.2009.
