This is a gorgeous Victorian solid mahogany needlepoint/petit point chair. The needlepoints are a floral petit point in the center surrounded by a floral needlepoint. The gorgeous needlepoints are in a floral on the front back and seat area. The background color is burgundy with the floral areas being gold, cream and pinks. There is a solid lighter colored burgundy needlepoint on the back. The original finish is in great condition. The original finish is rubbed in places as is normal for an old original finish. It is a very solid piece of furniture. Truly a work of art.
