Rare Karpen Solid Mahogany Pedestal Desk $375.00
This is a beautiful signed/tagged Karpen desk that was probably produced in the Chicago Factory between 1939 and 1951. It has 8 dovetailed drawers with one of the drawers being for files. There are solid brass pulls on the drawers which are left at their antiqued state. It comes with a ¼” thick glass top that was custom made for the desk. It measures 46” length, 24” width, and 29” height. The original finish is in great condition. The original finish is rubbed or crackled in places as is normal for an old original finish.
